The United States Environmental Protection Agency has created a Carbon Footprint Calculator which is a good tool for estimating your personal usage of resources that impact our atmosphere. There are more little details that are not factored in, like if you always carry your own mug. Nevertheless this is still a great place to start.
UC Berkeley has put forth significant efforts into collecting and measuring data on this topic. Check out their cool climate interactive map and compare your neighborhood to others in your area. Also, if you feel like browsing further, they have their own personal calculator, similar to the above, as well as another for measuring your business. Also, if you want to use their data, they allow it free of charge so long as you meet their sourcing requirements.
